Artist's Comments I AM SO PROUD OF THESE THINGS IT'S NOT EVEN FUNNY.  Fenris's awesome tutorial: [link] These are made from the following, um, ingredients: - Faux leather stuff - Cotton sheepskin stuff - Two mason jar lids with the paint sanded off - Dark brown felt - Two D rings - 1/8 (I think) inch thick plexiglass - Two bronze eyelets/rivets/whatever they're called - Thread and some hot glue - About 3 days' worth of time The leather and sheepskin was bought for less than $5 total. Yay for coupons. The rest of the junk was found around the house. La~. The fourth photo down shows the buckle. It's made from the two D rings; quite a few motorcycle helmets have this type of buckle on the chin strap. It's more adjustable than a normal buckle. :D The last two photos at the bottom there are just me being a goofball. 8D |
